Meet your Speech Therapist

Bea Duvenhage

I obtained my degree in 2014 – Bachelor of Communication Pathology (in Speech-Language Pathology) at the University of Pretoria. In 2015 I completed my community service year at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, being part of the paediatric team. This is where I developed my passion for working with children.

In 2016 I worked at a private practice and gained a great deal of valuable knowledge in treating speech and language difficulties in school-aged children. In 2017 I took the leap in starting my own practice and I am absolutely loving it!

I am passionate about children

I believe in a holistic approach, looking at all the aspects contributing to the problem rather than focusing on one aspect alone. Working closely with parents, teachers and other health professionals is very important to me to ensure the best possible service and outcome.

I am continuously expanding my knowledge and improving my skills by attending courses.  I firmly believe that this contributes to providing services that are effective and of the highest quality.

I have completed the following courses:

I am also currently busy completing my qualification to become a South African Certified Lactation Consultant.
